Spatial Dataset Processing and Development

At this point, uploading datasets to Data Basin does require familarity and access to proprietary ESRI software.  To help users populate Data Basin with spatially explicit datasets relevant to their needs, Data Basin staff can provide a range of services.  Contact us, if you need assistance in:

Training & Workshops

 Custom Tool Development

Within the Data Basin platform, CBI builds customized decision support, analysis, and reporting tools to solve specific problems for clients.  Data Basin also has a growing number of 'Gateways' that provide customized management and tools for specific content in the system.  For example, the "Inter-American Biodiversity Information Network Data Integration and Analysis Gateway (IABIN DIAG)" supports the spatial datasets and tools generated by five thematic networks throughout Latin America.  For corporations, customized Data Basin solutions can help drive cost down, improve ability to compete in a 'green market', and improve corporate citizenship.
